Implementation & Operation

Websites 101: Questions We Hear All the Time

  • It will always depend on a variety of items when considering the timeframe. For example, factors that affect the timeline include the following:

    • Do you have professional photos and/or graphics that are ready to go, or should we plan for that to get completed?

    • Complexity: Are you creating an interactive site with learning tools or e-commerce, or are you showcasing your business skills for audience growth?

    • Is your content ready to go?

    • Number of revisions – Endless tweaks and edits can double the timeline.

    • And of course, vacations, holidays or delays can often stretch the timeline for approvals needed.

    The easy answer is that we will usually plan for three months - start to finish - when working on any site up to 8 pages, but it will always depend on the moving pieces.
